SERMON TITLE: THE REALITY OF OUR CHOICES
SERMON THEME: ADMITTING THE NEED FOR HELP
SERMON TEXT: ROMANS 7:15; MATTHEW 5:3

INTRODUCTION: JESUS TEACHES US HOW TO LIVE SO WE CAN BECOME HAPPY IN LIFE.
ROMANS 7:15; 18, EZEKIEL 28:2, MATTHEW 5:3

• PLAYING GOD IS WHAT KEEPS US FROM BEING HAPPY IN LIFE.

THREE WAYS WE CAN DEVELOP "THE SPIRIT" OF BEING POOR IN SPIRIT?

I) HUMBLY ADMIT YOU NEED HELP.
JAMES 4:6, PROVERBS 28:13

• HUMBLE PEOPLE RECIEVE GOD'S BLESSING OF GRACE.

II) HUMBLYASK GOD FOR HELP.
II CORINTHIANS 1:9, PROVERBS 29:23

• MOST OF US RARELY CHANGE UNTIL OUR FEAR OF CHANGE IS EXCEEDED BY OUR PAIN.

III) HUMBLY ACCEPT HELP FROM OTHER PEOPLE.
ECCLESIASTES 4:9, JAMES 5:16

• TWO ARE BETTER THAN ONE, BECAUSE A FRIEND CAN HELP YOU UP.

CONCLUSION: THERE IS RELIEF AND THERE IS HEALING JUST IN SHARING.
ROMANS 5:6
